McAlester waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Glenpool Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Buffaloes, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

McAlester got a massive performance out of John Marchant, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave Marchant a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaxon McKinney, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: McAlester kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.

McAlester's record now sits at 15-6. As for Glenpool, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. McAlester will head out to face off against Carl Albert at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Buffaloes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Glenpool, they will venture away from home to take on Lincoln Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
