After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southside, Ascension Episcopal was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rayne Wolves. For Ascension Episcopal, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory Rayne walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Ascension Episcopal's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Rayne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Ascension Episcopal has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Beau Chene on the 25th. As for Rayne, they will host St. Martinville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Wolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
