Basketball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

If Odessa was riding high fresh off their 68-46 takedown of Lake View last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Odessa Bronchos fell 58-50 to the Permian Panthers on Thursday. The Bronchos haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Odessa now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Permian, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Permian beat Odessa by a score of 58-50 on Friday.
