Baseball Recap: Kennedale's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kennedale walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Pinkston Vikings with a sharp 19-2 victory on Friday. Considering the Wildcats have won ten games by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Kennedale's fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Pinkston, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-12.

As of now, neither Kennedale nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
