Upper Dublin hadn't beaten Quakertown on the road since May 5, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Wednesday. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Panthers 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Panthers on Tuesday, they had to take a 5-1 loss.

Upper Dublin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Quakertown, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8-1.

Upper Dublin and Quakertown could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Cardinals will face off against Pennsbury at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (148 vs. 20). Meanwhile, Quakertown (ranked 186th) will meet Souderton (ranked 24th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
