Football Game Preview: Falcon Falcons vs. Montrose Red Hawks + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Falcon will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to take on the Montrose Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Falcon has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Montrose will come in with five straight wins.

Last Friday, Falcon was beaten by Ponderosa 49-14.

Although Falcon took the loss, they still got scores from Ashton Massey and Joshua Mahoney.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montrose). They claimed a resounding 49-8 victory over Fruita Monument. Considering the Red Hawks have won four matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Montrose's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Falcon, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Falcon was taken down by Montrose 56-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Falcons were down 42-6.
