Preview: Chazy Eagles vs. Seton Catholic Central Knights
The Chazy Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet the Seton Catholic Central Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chazy will be strutting in after a victory while Seton Catholic Central will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, everything came up roses for Chazy at home against Willsboro Central as the team secured a 61-32 win. The victory was just what Chazy needed coming off of a 62-32 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Seton Catholic Central's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. Their rough 66-40 loss to Northern Adirondack might stick with them for a while. Seton Catholic Central has struggled against Northern Adirondack recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Defeat or not, Seton Catholic Central got some senior leadership from Aiden Pearl who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 19 rebounds and Sam DeJordy who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Pearl is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.
Chazy's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Seton Catholic Central, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3.
