Basketball Game Preview: Holy Cross Indians vs. Covington Catholic Colonels

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Holy Cross and Beechwood, and Holy Cross kept the tradition alive. Holy Cross took down Beechwood 76-57 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Covington Catholic humbled Holmes with an 87-44 victory. The Colonels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Holy Cross pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for Covington Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-8.
