Volleyball Game Preview: Calabasas Coyotes vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Calabasas Coyotes will square off against the Cleveland Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Cleveland is facing Calabasas at the wrong time: Calabasas suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday and they're likely out for redemption. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 3-0.

Calabasas was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Cleveland gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Moorpark.

Cleveland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-22.

Calabasas' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cleveland, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-0.
