Basketball Game Preview: Corinth Warriors vs. Lafayette Commodores

Having just played yesterday, the Corinth Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Lafayette Commodores at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Corinth is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Alcorn Central just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a hard 55-39 fall against the Bears.

Meanwhile, Lafayette hadn't done well against Lewisburg recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Lafayette came out on top against Lewisburg by a score of 48-36. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Commodores.

The win got Lafayette back to even at 11-11. As for Corinth, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-16.

Corinth skirted past Lafayette 49-47 in their previous meeting last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Corinth since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
