Shekinah Christian waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Madison Christian Eagles. The Flames might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 11 runs or more this season.

Aiden Nofziger made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Shekinah Christian is undefeated when Nofziger posts two or more runs, but 1-3 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alex Bauermeister, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jayce Yoder, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one double.

Shekinah Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Madison Christian only posted an OBP of .348.

Shekinah Christian pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Madison Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Shekinah Christian will take on Northside Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.14 runs per game on average), something the Flames will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Madison Christian, they will face off against Genoa Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Genoa Christian Academy has averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
