            Volleyball Recap: Millbury Woolies vs. Notre Dame Academy Rebels        
        
		
        
        
            Millbury was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Notre Dame Academy Rebels. The Woolies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 18-25,  25-22.
 Kaden Ellis paced Millbury's offense, picking up eight kills. Ellis got some help from  Brielle Brothers and her 12 assists. Ellis was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with five aces.
  Addison Cutting had an outrageously good game for Notre Dame Academy as she  had 25  digs and six  aces. Cutting is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in each of the last 11 games she's  played.
Millbury's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Notre Dame Academy,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 16-1.
 Millbury has already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  victory against Advanced Math & Science Academy on the 22nd. As for Notre Dame Academy, they will challenge Doherty Memorial at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
