Baseball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

If Carlisle was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Archbishop Alter on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians fell just short of the Fairborn Skyhawks by a score of 10-9 on Saturday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Skyhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Carlisle now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Fairborn, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9-1.

Looking ahead, Carlisle will challenge Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairborn, they will take on Piqua at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
