George Capps posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

Capps' strong effort led Cumberland Gap over Thomas Walker and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers are a perfect 4-0 against the Pioneers going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
