Soccer Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Lafayette struggled afterwards.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, their win bumped their record up to 12-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lafayette is set to square off against their familiar foe Lexington Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Paul Laurence Dunbar will challenge rival Lexington Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
