Softball Recap: Bernalillo Spartans vs. Miyamura Patriots

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Piedra Vista, Bernalillo was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Miyamura Patriots with a sharp 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Bernalillo, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Calandria Montoya made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk).
