The Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans are on the road again on Friday and play against the Delta Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard extended their postseason success on Friday against Hamilton Heights. Everything went their way against the Huskies as they made off with a 28-8 victory. Considering Indianapolis Bishop Chatard has won eight contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, Delta waltzed into Friday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 21-15 W over Garrett.
One reason for the win was Delta's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Nash Keesling was the leader with two sacks.
Indianapolis Bishop Chatard pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 13-1 West Lafayette and 8-3 Guerin Catholic (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 64.4% over those games). As for Delta, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
