Softball Game Preview: Spring Grove Rockets vs. Boiling Springs Bubblers

The Spring Grove Rockets will venture away from home to face off against the Boiling Springs Bubblers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Spring Grove is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Spring Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Waynesboro and fell 16-15.

June Wilt was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with seven RBI and two doubles. Payton Martin was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Boiling Springs' offense. They came up short against Big Spring on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The Bubblers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Spring Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.
