Softball Recap: Eastpointe Comes Up Short

Eastpointe fell victim to Fitzgerald and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 24-0. The Shamrocks haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Eastpointe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fitzgerald, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eastpointe is set to face off against their familiar foe Clintondale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fitzgerald will take on rival Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
