Baseball Recap: Santa Fe Takes a Loss

Santa Fe lost against Belen back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Santa Fe came up short against Belen, falling 14-4.

Aldo Morales made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Jaramillo, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Santa Fe dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Belen, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Santa Fe has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 victory against Pojoaque Valley on the 20th. As for Belen, they will take on Socorro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
