Flag Football Recap: Minooka Comes Up Short

Minooka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between the Indians and the Oswego East Wolves didn't end well, with the Indians falling 20-6. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Wolves are ranked 35th).

Minooka's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Oswego East, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Minooka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oswego East, they will be playing at home against Bartlett at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
