Basketball Recap: Hico Takes a Loss

Hico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 55-39 fall against the De Leon Bearcats. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 39-36 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hico's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for De Leon, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 7-11.

Hico has already played their next contest (against Poolville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. De Leon will head out on the road to square off against Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. De Leon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
