Basketball Recap: Panama Comes Up Short

Panama was the 45-42 winner over Westfield when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panama Panthers received a blow on Friday as they fell 46-32 to the Westfield Wolverines. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Panama fell to 3-1. As for Westfield, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Panama has already played their next matchup (against Clymer Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Westfield will challenge Sherman at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Sherman's defense has only allowed 21.5 points per game this season, so Westfield's offense will have their work cut out for them.
