Volleyball Recap: Peekskill Comes Up Short

Peekskill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Nanuet Golden Knights, falling 3-0. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Peekskill was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Nanuet work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-5, 28-26.

Despite the defeat, Peekskill saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Camila Torres had 12 digs and two aces. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for Torres.

Peekskill's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Nanuet, their win bumped their record up to 4-5-1.

As of now, neither Peekskill nor the Golden Knights have any future games scheduled.
