With a playoff win on the line, South San Francisco rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Soledad Aztecs. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Sydney Semans made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Madyson Jade Quintanilla was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Miley Salvatore, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

South San Francisco hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive matches.
