Soccer Game Preview: Seaford vs. Laurel

The Seaford Bluejays are taking a road trip to take on the Laurel Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Seaford fell victim to Indian River and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Indians. Seaford have struggled against Indian River recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Laurel was forced to settle for a draw. They and Dover finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

With that draw, Laurel's record moves to 1-4-1. As for Seaford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Seaford took their victory against Laurel in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Bluejays have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
