Volleyball Recap: Mater Bay Academy Comes Up Short

Mater Bay Academy suffered their biggest loss since August 29th on Monday. They came up short against the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions, falling 3-0. The Rays haven't had much luck with the Stallions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-9.

Mater Bay Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Mater Bay Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Pinecrest Prep on the 16th. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Archimedean on the 17th.
