Football Recap: Apalachee Comes Up Short

Apalachee lost against Alcovy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell 27-21 to the Tigers. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Apalachee's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Alcovy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Apalachee will face off against rival Habersham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Alcovy is set to take on their familiar foe Clarke Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
