Volleyball Recap: Rome Takes a Loss

Rome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Heritage Generals. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Generals when the teams met back in August of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13.

Rome's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Heritage, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Rome and Heritage will both be playing Christian Heritage the next time they take the court. The Generals will head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
