Volleyball Recap: Grand Junction Central Takes a Loss

Grand Junction Central's tournament run continued when they took on Frederick on Friday. The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tallin McCormick paced Grand Junction Central's offense, picking up seven kills. McCormick got some help from Kaysen Reynolds and her 13 assists. Reynolds was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Grand Junction Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Frederick, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Grand Junction Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Eagle Valley on the 30th. As for Frederick, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Northfield on the 30th.
