Basketball Recap: Houston Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eleva-Strum last Saturday, Houston came back down to earth. The Houston Hilltoppers lost to the Ravenwood Raptors at home by a 60-44 margin on Monday.

Houston has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Ravenwood, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Houston will square off against North Pontotoc at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ravenwood, they are taking a road trip to challenge Summit at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th.
