Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Heritage Christian Academy fell 3-1 to Appling Christian Academy. If Heritage Christian Academy was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Appling Christian Academy when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Heritage Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-14.

Heritage Christian Academy's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Appling Christian Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Heritage Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Coastal HomeSchool on the 18th. As for Appling Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Crossroads Christian Academy on the 18th.
