Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Magruder). Everything went their way against the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles on Monday as they made off with a 19-1 victory. The Colonels have beaten the Screamin' Eagles the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Screamin' Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Magruder's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Seneca Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Magruder will square off against River Hill at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Colonels' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Seneca Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Clarksburg at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
