Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Homestead). They were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over the Edison Red Raiders on Friday. Maick Simon was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Homestead and bumps their season record up to 7-1-3. As for Edison, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homestead will square off against South Miami at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Homestead is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. As for Edison, they will face off against Hialeah at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
