Volleyball Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Sebastian River Sharks, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Sharks from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-5, 25-4.

Westwood dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sebastian River, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Westwood will venture away from home to take on Tradition Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sebastian River, they will welcome Somerset College Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
