The Texas Lions HomeSchool Lions will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Kingdom Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Texas Lions HomeSchool was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 83-79 to Harker Heights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (69), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Kingdom Collegiate Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 74.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six last Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 106-28 victory over the Lions. Given Kingdom Collegiate Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 408th, while Providence Academy is ranked 1418th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kingdom Collegiate Academy's win came from a few key players Texas Lions HomeSchool will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Trey Fulcher, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards. His evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Jackson, who went 14 of 24 en route to 28 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Kingdom Collegiate Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive contests.

Kingdom Collegiate Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 101.0 points over those games. As for Texas Lions HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 32-6.
