Volleyball Recap: King's Ridge Christian Takes a Loss

King's Ridge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highlands Christian Knights.

Highlands Christian was led to victory by Emily Eades and Julia Dos Santos. Eades had 16 digs and one assist, while Dos Santos had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Eades has posted since back in September of 2024.

King's Ridge Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Highlands Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King's Ridge Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The Weber School at 5:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Highlands Christian, they will host Sagemont P at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
