Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was the 4-1 winner over Worthington when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 12-8 to the Trojans on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jennifer Lee made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailynn Parsons, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Worthington, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will welcome Belle Plaine at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Worthington, they will take on St. Peter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
