Softball Recap: Colfax Continues Home Dominance on Monday

While Colfax's win against Spring Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Cardinals 5-4 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.

Colfax pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Spring Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
