Volleyball Recap: Achievement First Providence Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Achievement First Providence, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Davies Career & Tech Patriots by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Achievement First Providence walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Zac Desrosiers paced Achievement First Providence's offense, picking up 11 kills. Desrosiers got some help from AJ Kue and his 25 assists. Kue was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Achievement First Providence's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Davies Career & Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Achievement First Providence will challenge rival Block Island at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Davies Career & Tech is set to face off against their familiar foe Portsmouth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
