Baseball Recap: Christ Church Episcopal Comes Up Short

Christ Church Episcopal fell victim to Southside Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sabres. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Sabres recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Christ Church Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Southside Christian, they pushed their record up to 15-1-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Christ Church Episcopal is taking a road trip to challenge St. Joseph's Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southside Christian, they will take on Campbell at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Sabres are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
