Soccer Recap: Palm Beach Central Takes a Loss

Palm Beach Central managed to keep up with Wellington until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Palm Beach Central Broncos lost 3-0 to the Wellington Wolverines. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, the Broncos' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Palm Beach Central has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Wellington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

After both having extra time off, Palm Beach Central and Martin County will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Wellington, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dwyer at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
