Soccer Recap: Friends' Central Comes Up Short

Friends' Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Shipley. If Friends' Central was looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Shipley when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Friends' Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shipley, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Friends' Central will venture away from home to face off against George School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shipley, they will challenge Springside Chestnut Hill Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
