Softball Recap: Huckabay Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Huckabay can now relate to. They came up short against the Blum Bobcats on Thursday, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Indians' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Huckabay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Anderson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Huckabay's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Blum, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4-1.

As of now, neither Huckabay nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
