Softball Recap: Sugar Creek Charter Comes Up Short on the Road Against Greater Cabarrus S

Sugar Creek Charter kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 19-4 to the Greater Cabarrus S Stallions. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

With the victory, Greater Cabarrus S broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Coming up, Sugar Creek Charter will host Union Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greater Cabarrus S, they will square off against Hickory Grove Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
