Baseball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Rams vs. North Baltimore Tigers
Upper Scioto Valley lost to North Baltimore back in May of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Upper Scioto Valley Rams walked away with a 9-5 win over the North Baltimore Tigers.
Maddox Underwood made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Underwood has been consistent recently: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Underwood was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Alex Sanders was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Carter Peoples, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
