Softball Recap: Albemarle Takes a Loss

Albemarle fell victim to Orange County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Fighting Hornets. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Albemarle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Orange County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Albemarle is set to take on their familiar foe Fluvanna County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Orange County will face off against rival Western Albemarle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
