Southwestern has gone 9-1 against Riverdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home field against the Chieftains at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Southwestern lost 9-3 to Fennimore on Monday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Brynlee Droessler made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Riverdale came up short against Iowa-Grant on Monday, falling 13-3.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Southwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Southwestern came out on top in a nail-biter against Riverdale when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 7-6. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Chieftains have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
