Football Preview: Classical Academy Caimans vs. Bishop's Knights
Classical Academy is 0-6 against Bishop since September of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Caimans will head out to take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. The contest will give Classical Academy their first taste of in-conference action this season.
Classical Academy fought the good fight in their overtime game against Coastal Academy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 20-14 to the Stingrays.
Thomas Wentzel put forth a good effort for the losing side as he picked up 80 receiving yards and one TD.
Meanwhile, Bishop's didn't have quite enough to beat La Jolla Country Day on Friday and fell 28-26. The Knights gained 157 more yards on the day, but it was the Torreys that made the best use of them.
Classical Academy will need to focus on slowing down Dane Larson, one of several Bishop's players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 110 receiving yards and one score. Larson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Classical Academy's record is now 2-4. As for Bishop's, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
Saturday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Classical Academy has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 152.3 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Bishop's, though, as they've been averaging only 95.6 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
