While Medina's victory against Leakey wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Medina had just enough and edged out Leakey 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-1 back in February.

The win made it two in a row for Medina and bumps their season record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Leakey, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coincidentally, Medina and Leakey will both be playing Menard the next time they take the field. Medina will host Menard at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Leakey will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
